Geeta Gill graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Psychology, and received her LL.B. from the University of British Columbia in 2003. She was called to the Bar in the Province of British Columbia in September, 2004. Ms. Gill completed her articles and worked as an associate in the litigation department at a general practice firm, practicing in the areas of Civil Litigation and Family Law until the fall of 2008 at which time Ms. Gill joined a boutique family law firm. Since late 2008, she has practiced exclusively in the area of family law. Ms. Gill joined Hamilton Fabbro in July, 2014 where she continues to practice exclusively in the area of family law. Ms. Gill regularly appears in both the Provincial and Supreme Court of British Columbia. Ms. Gill is an accredited Family Law Mediator, Arbitrator and Parenting Coordinator.
Ms. Gill has been a member of the Canadian Bar Association British Columbia (Vancouver) Family Law subsection since 2004 and an executive member since 2008, serving as co-chair for two years, ending June, 2014. Ms. Gill remains actively involved in the CBA.
