Kaitlyn (she/her) grew up in Ontario and graduated from Western University in 2011 with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology. She moved to BC to attend Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia and completed her Juris Doctor in 2014. Kaitlyn was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 2015 and has practiced primarily in the area of family law since.
Kaitlyn is experienced in advising clients in a wide range of family law matters, including all issues related to divorce, property and debt division, child and spousal support, and parenting arrangements. She also assists clients in negotiating and preparing cohabitation, marriage, and separation agreements.
Kaitlyn understands that divorce and separation can be one of the most difficult life events a family may experience. She guides her clients through this challenging time with compassion, objectivity, and clear legal advice. Kaitlyn appreciates that litigation can be a stressful, time-consuming, and costly process. With this in mind, she aims to resolve disputes outside of court whenever possible. Her goal is to provide practical, cost-effective, and efficient solutions to her clients while preventing unnecessary conflict and preserving good will between parents. When settlement is not possible and litigation is necessary, Kaitlyn effectively advocates her clients’ positions in court.
In her spare time, Kaitlyn can be found connecting with friends, spending time outdoors with her two dogs, and travelling with her family.
