Lisa Hamilton, K.C. is experienced counsel in all areas of family law. Ms. Hamilton handles family litigation, mediation, arbitration, negotiation and parenting coordination files. She enjoys advising and strategizing to find the best ways to resolve family law problems.
Ms. Hamilton attended UBC, obtaining her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1990, majoring in Psychology. She obtained her Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Victoria in 1994 and was called to the Bar in 1995. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, Attorney General’s the Supreme Court Rules Committee and a fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers. Ms. Hamilton regularly presents on family law topics. She is a life bencher of the Law Society of British Columbia and served as president in 2022.
Ms. Hamilton has raised three sons and enjoys music and travelling.
