Nimrit Dhillon practices exclusively in the area of family law and child protection. She utilizes a practical and empathetic approach when assisting her clients in resolving their family disputes. Nimrit strives to settle client matters using alternative dispute resolution but is prepared to litigate where necessary. She regularly appears in the Provincial Court and Supreme Court of British Columbia and has conducted trials in both levels of court.
Born and raised in Vancouver, Nimrit has studied and worked in various countries, including Spain, South Korea, Thailand, and Hong Kong. Her experiences abroad enable her to bring a unique perspective and cross-cultural understanding to each client matter.
Nimrit graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in International Relations and Political Science. She went on to obtain her Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria in 2016. Nimrit then returned to the Lower Mainland to complete her articles at a boutique family law firm in the Fraser Valley, where she continued as an associate after being called to the Bar in British Columbia in 2017. Nimrit joined Hamilton Fabbro in 2020 and continues to practice in the areas of family law and child protection.
She loves to travel, taste and cook different cuisines, and discover new music. Nimrit is fluent in Punjabi and Spanish. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association.
