Stephanie Fabbro graduated from Simon Fraser University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts and received her LL.B from Dalhousie Law School in 1998. She was called to the Bar in the Province of British Columbia in June 1999 and to the Bar in the Province of Nova Scotia in November 1999. After articling at a mid-size law firm in B.C., she moved to Cape Breton Island where she practiced in a small firm. In 2000, she returned to B.C. and joined a boutique law firm where she practiced until December 2008. In December 2008, Lisa Hamilton and Ms. Fabbro founded the boutique law firm called Hamilton Fabbro Lawyers.
Ms. Fabbro practices exclusively in the area of divorce and family law, and is a parenting coordinator, arbitrator, family law mediator, and collaborative lawyer. She is an active member of the Canadian Bar Association Family Law Section where she has served on the executive for several years. Presently, she is also on the executive board of the B.C. Parenting Coordinators Roster Association. She has presented in the area of family law for Continuing Legal Education of British Columbia at the University of British Columbia, Faculty of Law, and has also been a guest family law instructor for the Professional Legal Training Course, and Law Society of British Columbia.
